There is a common misconception that the Democrat Party is the party of intelligence and reason. Al Gore and John Kerry have even been touted as brilliant and visionary. As usual, nothing could be further from this inconvenient truth.
After reviewing an old Washington Post article, we learn that Al Gore not only underperforms expectations, but he is one failing class away from riding the short bus to school. Gore received mostly C’s and B’s in English and French in High School. Moreover, he received a D in Natural Sciences and then got a C+ in Natural Sciences his senior year. Amazingly, those grades were sufficient for Gore to attend Harvard University. We all know, however, that his admittance had something to do with having a big-time Politician for a father. But, liberals still paint the false picture that only Republicans use their parent’s political power to get ahead.
Not surprisingly, at Harvard, Al Gore “received one D, one C-minus, two C's, two C-pluses and one B-minus, which placed him in the lower fifth of the class for the second year in a row.” So much for Harvard’s grade inflation; maybe Gore can blame his transcript on being stoned all day. At the very least he should have spent more time researching the “Little Ice Age.”
After Harvard, evidently Gore really challenged himself. "He received grades of "F" in five of the eight Divinity School courses– including an "F" in a course about science and nature." Oh, and he also dropped out of Vanderbilt Law School.
I find it comforting that the foremost “expert” on the temperature of our Planet is an absolute idiot when it comes to science. No wonder he refuses to debate real scientists about his unsubstantiated claims. But, Gore seems to enjoy debating Hollywood celebrities so he can be the smartest one in the room. With all the mercury in Laurie David’s head from her Compact Florescent Light Bulbs, however, that should not been too difficult.
In light of Al Gore’s pathetic lack of achievement, it is really sad that that liberals point to George Bush’s grades to demonstrate res ipsa loquitur that he is unfit to be President. Well, if you examine John Kerry’s grades, you really get a sense that most politicians are not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
John Kerry, who served in Vietnam, received five D’s during four years at Yale, finishing with 76 cumulative Grade Point Average. He received five Ds, including four in his freshman year, with a D in political science. He scored a 61 in geology, a 63 and 68 in two history classes, and a 69 in political science. His top score was a 79, in another political science course. Another of his valiant efforts, a 77, came in French class. I thought John Kerry spouted his French-speaking prowess? George W. Bush received an 88 in History by the way.
So even after insurmountable evidence that John Kerry and Al Gore are intellectual lightweights, the liberal media still pretends these men are geniuses. Evidently, there is the liberal assumption that all Democrats are brilliant, even when there is no evidence of it. So, we should all take Al Gore’s advice and adhere to reason: If someone is a failing student, maybe we should question his assertion that New York will be underwater in twenty years unless we buy carbon credits.
