Okay, these political experts need the stop the nonsense. I am watching Meet the Press with Tim Russert on MSNBC right now, and the liberal political "experts" have gone 5-straight minutes bashing Fred Thompson. The following are all the "relevant" topics that they discussed (I could not make any of these up):
1) Fred Thompson was too coached in the last debate; 2) Fred Thompson looked old; 3) Fred Thompson looked tired; 4) Saturday Night Live made fun of Fred Thompson; 5) He coughed a few times; 6) He was not like Reagan; 7) He let people down; 8) He knew the name of the Prime Minister of Canada (as if they expected him not to know); 9) John Edwards can get away with being tired, but Fred Thompson cannot; 10) He was not lazy like a Fox; and 11) They talked about how the Republicans argued about meaningless topics.
Can anyone imagine five straight minutes attacking Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, or Barack Obama. Of course nobody would expect that. This is another reason why Hillary has the advantage over any other candidate; she simply has the MSM and Media Matters ensuring she will never be attacked.
