Media Matters for America began as a purported "scientific" organization who sought to exposed conservative bias in the media. It was cited as a legitimate source by University professors and even liberal journalists. Nevertheless, people on the Right always knew that Media Matters was nothing other than a front group for the most vile people on the Left.

Then the word got out that Hillary Clinton helped start Media Matters and all hell broke loose. Soon people even began to realize that Keith Olbermann on multiple occasions literally read Media Matters' posts directly out of his teleprompter. Consequently, the sane people around America opened their eyes and realized that this organization should not be taken seriously; it is no different from the Daily Kos.

Now it appears that many of the loyal Media Matters fans have left the website. Well, at least Keith Olbermann is still reading it. But, the overall numbers are astonishing considering that we are in a huge political news cycle. Take a look at their page views tanking.
