We have just received our new orders from the United Nations. According to their "experts," we should all have one meat-free day a week to reduce the damage caused by global warming. If the Kyoto treaty will not destroy the world economy fast enough, we might as well start by destroying the meat industry.

Apparently, Dr Rajendra Pachauri, chair of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a vegetarian himself, has also called for governments to lead campaigns to reduce meat consumption by 60 per cent by 2020. Do we need another incentive for America to get out of the United Nations?

The United Nations was originally created to utilize diplomacy to create world peace. In fact, it has proven to be completely worthless. It is objectively one of the most corrupt organizations in the world, and as George Will has stated, it is impotent whenever the issue is important. So, instead of working to accomplish what the United Nations was created to do, it is now working to make everyone a vegetarian.

As a result of this nonsense, I have decided to have one steak everyday this month, and a bacon sandwich for breakfast. Join my cause to fight the religious extremism of environmentalism.
