In California, an environmentalist plastic surgeon used the fat from his liposuction patients to fuel his car. That's right, this doctor sucked out the fat from his obese / horribly insecure patients and used their fat for fuel. Now, his patients are suing him for the unauthorized use of their fat.
I personally am quite torn on this issue: On one hand, the fat was going to be thrown away. The patients clearly didn't want the fat, which was why they were having the procedure done in the first place. However, the doctor used their fat for a purpose that they did not originally authorize. Moreover, I have a personal antagonism toward anyone who thinks they are "doing their part" to save the environment by using less fuel.
